Dinar Aquaculture
Sustainable Culture, Responsible Harvest
Dinar Aquaculture represents our long-term commitment to building a resilient and sustainable marine cultivation industry. We invest in people, knowledge, and future-focused innovation to ensure that every stage of our aquaculture process supports healthy ecosystems and responsible growth.
Driven by a dedicated team, we continue to refine our methods, strengthen our facilities, and pursue research that elevates industry standards. We believe that aquaculture is not only a business—but a responsibility.
By investing today, we are shaping an aquaculture future that is ethical, efficient, and aligned with the needs of both marine environments and the communities that depend on them.

Seahorse Aquaculture [On Process]
Coral Aquaculture
Dinar’s approach to coral aquaculture is built on technical precision and ethical responsibility. By doing in-situ and ex-situ cultivation through controlled fragmentation and rigorous husbandry standards, we provide a sustainable alternative to wild collection. Our focus remains on producing resilient specimens that reflect Indonesia's marine biodiversity
Marine Fish Aquaculture
Centered on developing reliable, closed-loop breeding protocols to reduce industry reliance on wild populations. Our efforts have achieved consistent success with the captive production of clownfish, where we prioritize meticulous larval husbandry and nutritional optimization to ensure healthy, resilient specimens. This progress serves as a vital foundation for our ongoing and future research, establishing the technical framework necessary to expand sustainable breeding across a broader range of marine species in the future.
Giant Clam Aquaculture
The Dinar Tridacna Aquaculture program, operated by PT Dinar Darum Lestari, is a pioneering initiative in Indonesia that balances commercial marine exports with large-scale ecological restoration. Established with formal government permitting in 1997, it is one of the oldest and most comprehensive giant clam breeding operations in the region. We have succeed in culturing Tridacna squamosa, Tridacna crocea, Tridacna derasa, Tridacna maxima, Hippopus hippopus and will keep expanding the species like gigas and other.
Seahorse Aquaculture (On Process)
PT Dinar Darum Lestari expanded its aquaculture expertise in 2014 by integrating seahorse breeding (Hippocampus spp.). This initiative reflects our long-term strategy to provide high-quality, captive-bred alternatives to wild-caught marine life, supporting a sustainable global ornamental trade.
We are currently in the process of relocating our specialized seahorse facilities to better serve our conservation goals. While commercial availability is temporarily paused during this transition, we continue to maintain our healthy populations and broodstock. We look forward to resuming production and unveiling our enhanced facilities in the near future.
